Periodically throughout these posts, we would like to introduce you to some of our amazing partners who work with Sawyer to help bring clean water to children and families who need it most around the globe.
First, we would like to introduce you to Compassion International.
Compassion International is an NGO focusing on releasing children from economic, spiritual, social, and physical poverty. Currently Compassion is helping 1.2 million children located across 26 countries.
Compassion utilizes a Holistic Child Development Model, working with children from the earliest stages of their development and continues through young adulthood. This long-term approach enables children to gain necessary skills to grow in to young, healthy, and independent adults.
An incredible program that Compassion created, which is designed to address one of the greatest and most urgent needs in developing countries, is called the “Water of Life” program. This program brings children and families a “Water of Life” system, which includes our Sawyer Point One Water Filter Bucket Kit, education in improving hygiene and sanitation, as well as support for improving community water and sanitation resources where necessary.
Sawyer is proud and thankful to partner with Compassion International in helping to provide clean water systems for thousands of families across the globe. These water systems provide clean water for life, a 1 million gallon guarantee! Considering the average person consumes 15,000 gallons of water in their lifetime, this system provides more than enough clean water for children and their families.
